What Are Quartz Worktops?
Quartz worktops are engineered stone surfaces made from approximately 90-95% natural quartz crystals bonded with resins, pigments, and polymers. The result is a dense, non-porous surface that is harder than most natural stones and requires no sealing.
They suit homeowners who want the look of natural stone without the ongoing upkeep. Unlike marble or granite, quartz will not stain from wine, oil, or acids, and it does not need annual resealing. The wide range of colours and marble-effect patterns means you can achieve almost any look, from stark white to dramatic veined designs, with a consistent finish across the whole slab.

- Bullnose: fully rounded edge, softer and tactile

Our Process
1. Free Consultation and Samples
Visit our Sutton showroom or call to discuss your project. We will advise on materials, thicknesses, and finishes based on your kitchen layout and style. Free samples are available to take home.
2. Template and Measure
Our team visits your property to take precise measurements. We template around existing appliances, sinks, and hobs to ensure every cut-out is exact.
3. In-House Fabrication
Your worktops are cut and polished at our Sutton workshop using CNC technology. Fabrication typically takes 5-7 working days from templating.
4. Professional Installation
Our own fitters carry out the installation, not subcontractors. Most kitchen installs are completed within a morning with minimal disruption.
5. Aftercare and Support
Once installed, we provide care guidance and remain contactable if you have questions after the job is done.

By train: Sutton Common train station is approximately 0.7 miles away and is served by Thameslink and Southern services. The walk to the estate takes around 15 minutes, or a short taxi ride.
By bus: Several bus routes serve the area, including the 80, 93, 293 and S3.

Quartz is heat resistant but not heat proof. Placing very hot pans directly on the surface can cause thermal shock, which may discolour or crack the resin. We recommend using trivets or pan stands as a matter of routine.

Yes. We fabricate and install quartz splashbacks and upstands in the same material as your worktop. This is usually completed as part of the same installation visit so there is no need to book a separate appointment.
